Biblical Indie Rock - What is it?
Biblical - The artist or band is comprised of Christians who are committed to the Scriptures as their final authority, which shapes their lyrics and thier worldview. They are also committed to the local church.
Indie Rock- Independent rock music is tough to nail down and can included many variations in sound. My definition is wide enough to include artists with some mix of grunge, alternative, punk, pop rock, and even some post hardcore (though all screaming would not meet this for me, ideally most vocals are singing to meet this definition). Some bands that would fall into this category: manchester orchestra, death cab for cutie, pedro the lion, jimmy eat world, as cities burn, thrice, further seems forever.
