Music is a gift from God that points to His glory.

Sower’s mission is to combine GOOD MUSIC with GOD’S WORD in order to give humans created in God’s image, a greater appreciation of Him.

All good music glorifies God because it takes His creation (sound waves) and orders it in a beautiful way. Music doesn’t have to be explicitly Christian to bring God’s radiance to the world, but Sower’s music is explicitly Christian.

My Background

I, Eric Tuffendsam, am a Christian, Father, Husband, and Evangelist. But I’m also a songwriter and producer and have been working professionally out of my own recording studio (moonlightstudios.org) for over 16 years in Cincinnati, OH. I have been a student of God’s Word since 1997 when the Lord saved me by grace through faith in Christ. Around 2009, I gained a new hunger to know God through the Bible and began taking classes at Boyce College (SBTS Undergrad), and though I never got a degree, I learned a lot and was propelled into studying and teaching the Bible within my local church context.

My family has been committed members of Christ the King Church Cincinnati (SBC) since 2014 and I have been one of the Elders for the past 6 years. I love to teach the Bible and there’s nothing quite like seeing lives changed by the power of God’s truth. I’ve always had a desire to operate behind the scenes and I’ve never imagined being the guy who’s out in front. As I’ve become more successful as a music producer and writer, it’s been cool to see some of the bands I’ve worked with blow up and to hear my produced music while shopping at Target or when watching TV. One time, my wife and I were watching the Office and when the commercial break started, I heard on of my songs on a TV commercial for the movie, “Knocked Up” (don’t recommend necessarily haha). But I’ve been very comfortable being unknown.

Lately, it has become clear to me that I have a gift that should not be hidden. I believe God has been preparing me to be able to write my best songs to spread His Word far and wide. People are hungry for truth, something real, something unlike the AI world we’re being forced into. There are MANY Christians who are hungry for music that is biblical and that is written and promoted for God’s glory, not just for fame and money. The Christian music industry complex known as CCM+ already sounds like AI music to me. Many people are tired of it. I want to do something better that inspires something even better. Sower is my attempt to do that. May the Lord bless you through it!
